Can you sleep in your clip in hair extensions?

Can you sleep in your clip in hair extensions?

Can you sleep in your clip in hair extensions? We get asked this all the time, and today we’re going to address this.

To Sleep or Not To Sleep - That's The Question

The answer is occasionally, yes you can. I mean, if you’re really tired and you fall asleep in your clip ins, it’s fine. The earth is not going to stop spinning. We all have days like that - when we fall into bed exhausted from the day. We’ll just also add that if you’re planning on accidentally sleeping in your clip ins, you should be doing it with a scarf on.

Think about it:  just as you would wear a satin scarf to sleep with your natural hair to protect your style and keep your hair from breaking and drying out, a scarf would also help to protect the curl patterns in your clip ins when you sleep.

Black Hair Arabia Clip ins

Black Hair Arabia clip ins are made with premium virgin hair and designed to match your hair texture. We want your clip ins to be comfortable, to fit into your life, and make it way easier to look good all the time. Life is busy enough as it is! Our clips are sturdy and won’t fall off the hair tracks if you ever sleep in them, so you don’t have to worry about that.

That said, you shouldn’t make it a habit to sleep in your clip in extensions every day. Well for one, they’re clips attached to your real hair, and you want to avoid any damage to your roots that might come from tossing and rolling in bed especially if you’re a rough sleeper.

Clip ins are generally more durable than sew-ins, because you can take them out daily and not have to wear them all the time. Handwash and condition them and they look as good as new.

So in summary, yes you can sleep in your clip ins but try not to make it a habit/everyday thing.
